The center works in close collaboration with Columbia Law School’s Office of International Programs in designing and implementing a wide range of semester-exchange programs with students from law faculties throughout Europe, bringing together the brightest future legal scholars and practitioners in E.U.-U.S. relations, from both sides of the Atlantic.
The Law School currently offers exchange programs with: Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany; Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, Germany; University of Amsterdam; University of Luxembourg; The University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland; Sapienza University, Rome, Italy; and Central European University, Budapest, Hungary.
The center has actively participated in shaping and managing the Law School’s joint-degree programs with both the University of London , offering J.D.-LL.B. and J.D.-LL.M. degrees since 2001, the Université de Paris I, offering the J.D./M1 in French Law since 1997, the J.D./M.A. program with the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po), and a J.D./LL.M. program at the University of Amsterdam.
